Conclusion The completed balun test equipment was delivered to Cambridge Connectors and immediately went into service. In the first six years of operation it tested several million baluns. It has proved so reliable that Boa Dynamics has never been required to provide any service for the equipment. The only regular service required has been the replacement of sacrificial leads and connectors and some minor attention for mechanical wear and tear. The customer has been able to perform these routine maintenance tasks, as well as any calibration duties in-house. Peter Fayers, at Cambridge Connectors told us,
